Alila Hotels and Resorts has signed a luxury boutique resort The Sothea in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

The stylish all-suite resort will be rebranded on 1 April 2011 as Alila Sothea, and is Alila's first property in Cambodia.

The Sothea is an award-winning luxury hotel with spacious suites with butler service and free Wi-Fi. Featuring gardens set amidst fountains, it offers a fitness centre and an outdoor pool.

Situated close to the Cambodian Cultural Village and the temples of Angkor,The Sothea is a 10-minute drive from Siem Reap International Airport.

Fitted with parquet floors, rooms at Sothea feature a lounge area with day beds. Private bathrooms are equipped with marble baths. Each room is also equipped with a flat-screen TV and minibar.

Both local and Western dishes are available at the hotel. Chatra restaurant offers a walk-in wine cellar, along with live music. Flame bar features a variety of drinks and cigars. For book-lovers, Sastra is well-stocked with both fiction and non-fiction reads. 24-hour room service is also provided.

Massages and body treatments can be enjoyed at The Spa Apsara or in the King Suite. Guests can also take a dip in the jacuzzi or relax at the sauna. Alternatively, they can arrange for an acupuncture session or make travel arrangements at the The Sothea’s reception.
