Renaissance Wuhan Hotel has announced the appointment of Daniel Lai as general manager of the hotel.

Lai has been with the Marriott group for 15 years. He first joined as director of sales and marketing of China Hotel, A Marriott Hotel, Guangzhou. In 1997, he was promoted to area director of sales and marketing of Marriott's regional office: overseeing the sales and marketing work of hotels in China, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Prior to this appointment his latest assignment was as general manager of the Beijing Marriott Hotel West.
