Meritus Hotels and Resorts has appointed Barbara Leung-Maradik as director of sales and marketing of Shanghai JC Mandarin Hotel.

Originally from Hong Kong, Leung-Maradik speaks fluent English, French, Mandarin, and Cantonese. She has had extensive sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Shanghai JC Mandarin, she was with IHG, Accor Asia Pacific, Carlton, and other international hotel management companies.
