The five-star Sofitel Shanghai Jin Jiang Oriental Pudong has opened its new east wing.

The hotel, which now boasts 405 rooms in two towers, the East Wing and the West Wing, is one of the closest luxury hotels to the site iof the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.

The opening was celebrated by Zuo Shen, the owner manager from Shanghai East Jin Jiang Hotel Company, and Robert Rippon, the hotel general manager, who toasted to all the guests and wished the hotel a successful and brilliant future.
