Centara Hotels and Resorts has announced that it is to rebrand the acquired Astudo Groups' hotels.
Once the properties have been renamed on 1 April, Centara will become Thailand's largest hotel chain with 43 buildings. “We have followed a strategy of strong growth, expanding our management contract operations, opening properties overseas and launching the Centara Boutique Collection,” said Chairman of the Executive Board of Central Plaza Hotel Suthikiati Chirathivat. Many of the Astudo properties will be rebranded under the Centara Boutique Collection name, launched last year as a collection of luxury four-star to mid five-star positioned hotels and resorts.
Rebranding includes these name changes: Case Manila to Centara Manila Hotel, X2 Kui Buri to X2 Hua Hin Kui Buri Villas by Design Centara Boutique Collection, Away Pranburi to Away Hua Hin Centara Boutique Collection, Le Bayburi Pranburi to The Bayburi Vacation Villas Hua Hin Centara Boutique Collection.
