Stephan Interthal has been appointed as the general manager of Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center, where he will oversee the major renovation and repositioning of the hotel.

He has been in the hospitality industry for well over 30 years, and has managed some of Kempinski's finest properties including the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest, Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten Munich and, most recently, the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin. A German national, Interthal speaks fluent German and English as well as some French. He graduated with an MBA in 2000.
