Kempinski Hotels has officially announced the appointment of Torsten Dressler as the general manager of Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen.

A German national, Dressler started his career in the hospitality industry more than 25 years ago. During his international career he has worked for hotel groups such as Le Meridien and Starwood Hotels. He joined the Kempinski group in 1998 and has worked in the group's flagship properties in Budapest, Berlin, Heiligendamm, and Moscow, in addition to having opened Kempinski Hotel Shenyang. Prior to this appointment Dressler led the pre-opening of Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square Vilnius in Lithuania.
