Mumbai is a major destination for Bahrain Air

Bahrain Air, the first privately owned National Carrier of Bahrain with affordable fares in both Premium and Economy classes, celebrated the inaugural flight to Mumbai on Monday 6th July 2009. The flight marks the launch of Bahrain Air's third Indian route destination.

Flight 2B517 will operate to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) with daily flight; departing Bahrain International Airport at 23:00 and arriving at Mumbai 04:40, Flight 2B518 will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) at 05:30 arriving Bahrain at 06:50, all flights are subject to governmental approval. To commence this route Bahrain Air will use a Airbus 320 / 319 aircraft which will carry 162 / 132 passengers in both Business Premium Class and Economy, along with offering extraordinary levels of comfort.
