On May 31, Skyways will begin flying non-stop between Stockholm-Arlanda and Vilnius, Lithuania.

The Swedish-based airline will operate two flights each way daily, Monday to Friday, as well as one flight each way on Sundays. Skyways uses Fokker 50 aircraft seating 50 passengers.

“For some time, we have had an eye on the Baltic market and awaited an opening, which has now appeared. The opportunities are as numerous as the challenges - an exciting step in many ways,” says Peter Browall, CEO of Skyways AB.

Skyways is the only airline with non-stop service to Vilnius from Stockholm-Arlanda. Air Baltic previously flew the route but ended its service in March 2009.
