Mumbai is Bahrain Air 3rd Destination in India

The Bahrain - Mumbai service will commence on July 2009 with daily nonstop flights to meet Bahrain Air's increased customer demand.

Flight 2B517 will operate to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) with daily flight; departing Bahrain International Airport at 23:00 and arriving 04:40 at Mumbai; Flight 2B518 will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) at 05:30 arriving Bahrain at 06:50, all flights are subject to governmental approval.

To commence this route Bahrain Air will use an Airbus A320 / A319 aircraft which will carry 162 / 132 passengers in both Business Premium Class and Economy, along with offering extraordinary levels of comfort.

Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay, is the business and entertainment capital of India and its most populous city, with an estimated population of 13 million (25 million in the greater metropolitan area). Many financial institutions and corporations have their headquarters in Mumbai, which is also home to the world-famous Bollywood film and television industry.
