Hainan Airlines has announced that it will open direct flights from Beijing to Moscow from March 19, 2009.

There will be three flights each week, which are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, respectively. The plane will depart from Beijing at 15:15 and arrive in Moscow at 18:30 local time. Flights will leave Moscow for Beijing at 20:35 local time and return to Beijing at 08:45.

From March 29, Hainan Airlines will implement the Summer and Autumn Flight Schedule, which means that from then on, the plane will depart from Beijing at 14:40 at arrive at Moscow at 18:35 local time, and leave Moscow at 20:30 and return to Beijing at 7:40 local time.

Hainan Airlines will use Airbus A300-200 wide-body aircraft on this route.
