China Airlines new summer schedule will include increased frequencies to New York and Frankfurt, and new flights to Sydney and non-stop flights to Vienna.
Falling fuel prices have allowed China Airlines to add new long-haul flights to its summer schedule, the airline announced. The summer schedule will take effect on March 29.
Beginning on March 29, an extra non-stop flight to Frankfurt, CI-62, will depart six times per week, using a Boeing 747-400 aircraft. At the same time, China Airlines’s Taipei-New York frequencies will increase from three to four flights per week, and Taipei-Frankfurt frequencies will increase from five to six flights per week.
In order to meet growing demand in the Australia market, China Airlines will add a new flight to Sydney, CI-055, using an Airbus 330-300 aircraft. The new flight increases frequencies to Sydney from four to seven flights per week. Together with its three weekly flights to Brisbane, China Airlines will offer highly convenient service to Australia, with 10 flights per week.
