Follow the Footsteps of King Rama V in Sweden

A unique Arts Exhibition named "Follow the Footsteps of King Rama V in Sweden" is being held on 20 February 2009 from 16:30 in Hua Hin.

4 Thai artists from the Fine Arts University of Thailand, Poh Chang, were invited to Sweden in 2007 in connection with the 110 year commemoration of King Rama V visit to Sweden in 1897. The artists stayed most of their time in Jamtland in close vicinity to the Thai Pavilion in Ragunda.

Back in Thailand they have created exclusive art works expressing the exquisite nature and experiences in Sweden which also impressed King Rama V at the time of his visit more than 100 years earlier.

Together with the board of Rajamangala University, Rattanakosin an Exclusive Arts Exhibition has been arranged with the theme ‘Follow the Footsteps of King Rama V in Sweden’.

This exhibition will be held at Worabura Resort & SPA in Hua Hin seen as suitable as this 5-star-resort is of architecture from King Rama V era of Rattanakosin.

This Exhibition and special Event is free of charge with no admission fee.
