Austrian Airlines is significantly expanding its flight schedule from Vienna to Dubai, creating a more attractive flight experience than ever before.
From 1 March 2009, the ‘red-white-red’ airline will be using a Boeing 767 with 235 seats on more than half its flights to the Emirate.
Until now, Dubai has been connected to the company’s Vienna hub by medium-haul aircraft. The new step represents a significant expansion – almost 20% - in seating capacity.
Viewed in terms of Business Class capacity alone, the expansion in capacity is greater still: the change means Austrian Airlines will now offer up to 120 Business Class seats a day on the route between Vienna and Dubai – twice as many as before, and a clear signal to a client group particularly demanding in nature.
The Middle East region represents an essential and strong pillar of the corporate strategy of Austrian Airlines.
